Weber Carburetor Synchrometers And Adapters


Synchrometers by STE

For advanced carburetor tuning, no toolbox is complete without the Redline-Weber Carburetor Synchrometer from STE! These are for synchronizing all multi-barrel or multi-carburetor automotive applications. This handy device measures the exact amount of air flowing through the carburetor, making the idle speed and mixture adjustments much more precise. Choose from either the STE SK or STE BK Synchrometer:

The SK Synchrometer fits airhorns from 1 5/8" (39mm) to 2 1/8" (55mm) in diameter, including the 40, 42, 45, and 48mm sidedraft (DCOE) and downdraft (IDF) carburetors. It can fit other carburetors using the adapters available below. The STE SK Synchrometer measures flow mass from 1-30 Kg/Hour. (Note: Sadly, we've failed to come up with an accurate conversion from Kg/Hour to the more standard CFM. If you have any ideal please email us!) The SK may also be used to check the air flow of the secondary stage at closed (idle) position on progressive carburetors.

The BK Synchrometer has a larger airhorn adapter and is designed to flow more air than the STE SK. It works unaided in airhorns from 2" (51mm) to 2 5/8" (67mm) in diameter. The STE118 adapter (below) allows the STE BK synchrometer to fit into the same airhorns as the smaller STE SK (1 5/8" to 2 1/8".) The STE BK measures flow mass from 1-35 Kg/Hour (or to 50 Kg/Hour if you open the bypass port.) Select the STE BK over the STE SK if you are measuring airflow on engines 3 liters or larger and not more than 2 carburetors.
