The ThermoTec Muffler and Catalytic Converter Heat Shield (image on the left, above) is made of woven silica with a flexible mylar finish. The highly reflective heat shield is typically installed above the catalytic convertor or muffler on the under-carriage of the car to reflect radiant heat.

New! The ThermoTec Kevlar Muffler Cover gives improved protection against radiant heat. Even more significant, this great product retains heat (energy) inside the exhaust where it belongs, resulting in improved performance. Uncut size is 26" x 40", trims easily with a strong, sharp set of shears. Resists continuous direct contact with temperatures to 1100° F.

Both kits include all necessary fasteners.
