The Battery Heat Barrier Kit was developed to eliminate voltage problems caused by engine heat. The radiant heat of the exhaust and engine can easily produces enough heat to destroy the chemicals in your battery and greatly reduce life. To combat this problem, Thermo-Tec has developed an easy to install strap on heat barrier to reflect the radiant heat. This universal kit enables the user to easily insulate the battery. The unique construction of the aluminized material provides protection by reflection of up to 90% of radiant heat.
