    1-1/2"-thick all-aluminum cooler has oversized 5/8" tubes with Turbulator ^TM fins and 3/8" FPT fittings.  Remote style filter system relocates the oil filter to a more convenient area in the engine compartment.  Uses oil filters with 3/4"-16 threads, such as Perma-Cool® 81008, Fram^®  PH8A or equivalent (oil filters not included). Kits include oil hose, illustrated multilingual instructions and all necessary mounting hardware. Coil size: 1-1/2" x 7" x 21".

"I have a lower air dam that has a opening in it and I mounted the cooler behind this so it got direct airflow.

"I tow a heavy 5th wheel trailer and have noticed that the coolant always got hot real fast even when accelerating from a stop. I surmised with the high HP I have that it was creating a lot of heat and Oil was to blame partly. The turbo was always long to cool down after driving even solo as the engine gets pretty hot even normally..

"Since mounting the cooler and 2 filters, I also added another feature, I added 2 valves, and 2 "T"s. This is so I can turn off the cooler in the winter (Salt Lake City) and direct the oil from the filters to the engine. Last winter I towed with the cooler and had noticed a drop in temps when towing and the temps cooled faster than before. Also, I notice even when solo, the turbo cools down faster due to the cooler oil.
