Responding to the suggestions of auto racers and enthusiasts, GReddy added wireless remote capability to their boost controllers. Designed for the PRofec, GReddy's fuzzy-logic boost controller; and its dual-solenoid counterpart, the PRofec B; the new remote switching system lets drivers control turbo boost from their steering wheel for enhanced convenience, safety and performance. Drag racers who need optimum traction can leave the starting line at a lower boost setting. Then, in 2nd or higher gear, the driver can switch to OTB or Hi-Boost mode to leave the competition behind. Road racers can use normal boost settings through the corners, then punch in maximum boost on the straights for maximum power and minimum distraction. The system was designed for easy installation and plugs into the controllers with basic hand tools.
