are the racing version of the highly acclaimed Blitz high performance radiator cap. They are rated at 1.3kgf/cm2 (18.5psi). Not only does this higher pressure result in a higher coolant boiling point, it also results in better cooling and more stable engine temperature. Boiling coolant traps air in the engine block, lowering the thermal efficiency and resulting in "hot spots" in the engine. Available in Type 1 and Type 2 versions to fit the same applications as the High Performance radiator caps.
*Toyota owners note: Look at your stock radiator cap. If the diaphragm that covers the hole in the radiator is the the size of a quarter, you need a Type 1. If it is closer to the size of a dime, you need a Type 2. Type 2 caps are generally used in the older Toyota's, while the newer Toyota's usually use a Type 1.
