| The engineers at Blitz have done it again. They've developed an amazing device that essentially reproduces a dynomometer, logging and displaying horsepower and speed in real time. Plus, it could fit in the palm of your hand. Functions include bar graph power display, digital power display, peak/hold horsepower, and power vs. mph. Plus, there are timers for 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile, and 0-60 times, and the device can store the last six runs. The Power Meter i-D is part of Blitz's new-for-2001 product line, and interfaces with the new SBC i-D boost controller. The Power Meter is a half-DIN in size, so it fits perfectly in that unused DIN slot in your dash. When installed next to the SBC i-D boost controller, it can supply speed measurements for speed-dependent boost control. Finally, the Power Meter was designed with the U.S. in mind, so all measurements are in normal units -- horsepower and mph -- instead of the metric units you usually see in Japanese-market electronics.
