A blow off valve relieves pressure that builds up in the intake system when the throttle is closed quickly (between shifts, for example). This valve is an extremely important part of any turbo system, and allows quick boost response. Repeated stress from compressor surge can damage the turbocharger and over time cause turbo failure. The bypass valve not only improves performance of a vehicle, it increases the lifespan of the turbocharger. |

The Racing Blow-Off Valve Type II is a higly tuned version of the SSQV. Unlike the SSQV, the Type II uses a single aluminum valve to accommodate up to 3.0 bar (43.44 psi). Additionally, the Type II is engineered to work accurately on vehicles with up to 800+ horsepower. The Racing Blow-Off Valve Type II utilizes the same flange and billet aluminum construction as the SSQV. DISCONTINUED! (Sorry!) |
